Salary: R204 275.65- R240 859.88 (C3)

Plus 10% scarce skills allowance (subject to certain conditions)

Qualifications/ Requirements

  Serviced  and  passed  a  recognized  Apprenticeship  in  the  Electrical industry

  Preference will be given to applicants with experience in one or more of the following: HV and LV cable jointing, construction and maintenance of 11kV and LV overhead lines, transformer and switchgear installations and other work carried out by a Municipal undertaking

  3  years’  experience  in  Electrical  industry  one    of  which  should  be  at Supervisory level 

  Code EB drivers licence

Key Performance Areas

  Responsible for the day to day supervision of relevant work units and work  site  associated  with  an  Electrical  undertaking  which  involves the  accurate  completion  of  all  necessary  paperwork,  prioritizing  of daily work schedules, preparation of daily times sheets, ensuring that functions are performed correctly and efficiently with strict adherence to the requirements of the OHS Act

  Required  to  read  design  drawings  and  setting  out  of  the  required works

  

The successful candidate will be expected to rotate or work within all sections of Electricity
