Qualifications/ Requirements

  Trade tested Artisan (Bricklayer)

  3 years relevant experience including supervision of staff

  Experience in reading design drawings and setting out of the storm water drainage works (e.g. pipe laying, gabion construction)

  Code EB drivers licence

Performance Areas

  Responsible  for  the  day  to  day  supervision  of  relevant  Municipal Work  units  and  work  Sites-  involves  accurate  completion  of  all necessary paperwork

  Prioritizing  of  daily  work  schedules,  preparation  of  daily  disposition sheets, ensuring that functions are performed correctly and efficiently with strict adherence to the requirements of the OHS Act

The successful candidate will report to the Drainage Branch Superintendent.
