Qualifications/ Requirements

  Trade tested Artisan in the building industry

  3 years relevant experience in repairs and maintenance of buildings

  Computer  literacy  with  proficiency  in  Windows  XP,  Microsoft  Word  and

Microsoft Outlook

  Code EB drivers licence

  Previous experience in Managing and Supervising a Building Maintenance team will be an added advantage

Key Performance Areas

  Responsible for the day to day supervision of relevant Work units and Work sites  which  include  the  inspection  of  public  buildings  and  surroundings  and arranging  for  the  defects/  maintenance  requirements  to  be  attended  by  the relevant personnel

  Accurate completion of all necessary documentation

  Prioritise daily work schedules, prepare of daily disposition sheets and ensure that functions are performed correctly and efficiently with strict adherence to the requirements of the OHS Act

The successful candidate will report to the Buildings Superintendent and will be responsible for inspection of sites and facilities, the completion of investigative reports as well as the supervision of staff matters and related thereto.
